What Is Online Reporting and IP Weblink?
ADPA offers Online Reporting through IP WebLink to our referring
physicians.
IP WebLink is a browser-based software tool that allows the
referring physician to review pathology reports on ADPA's Internet
site using secure, HIPAA compliant SSL (Secure Socket Layer)
technology.
IP WebLink provides status information (pending, available,
etc.) on specimens submitted by you to ADPA.
Pathology reports can be reviewed on-line ,
or downloaded for later viewing or filing. This can be done around
the clock and from any PC with an Internet connection. The reports
can be viewed immediately upon completion, eliminating the waiting
time for a printed or fax copy. Reports are in a PDF format and
can be printed on any Windows-based printer. They can also be
imported into your office practice or EMR system in a paperless
environment. They are stored indefinitely.
IP WebLink permits "cancer tracking" by listing pathology
reports of malignancies. These reports can be obtained for various
biopsy date ranges, allowing you to generate weekly, monthly
or annual reports on malignancies.
IP WebLink provides secure, self-contained, non e-mail based, messaging
systems . One system allows you to record case notes online
for later viewing or printing. The other messaging system provides
a secure avenue to communicate with the laboratory concerning
specific cases, etc.
